I can envision a world destroyed by plurk. Easily.

The bodies. Slumped over by computers. All the computers in the world displaying some number of updates waiting to be viewed.

Except one.

I agree with your grim assessment. And given the opportunity, I may well be one of the first to succumb.

Perhaps it's my choice of on-line correspondents which exacerbates the addiction. Too many smart, witty people! And you can "talk" to them all at once! It's better than a real party could ever be!

Always the practical thinker!

On Oahu: a million or so.
On the internet: Zannah, Nari, and a few of their close friends. Beyond that, I don't know: are there other people on the internet?
