Get a Slurpee at 7-Eleven on 7/11

Get a Slupree at 7-Eleven on 7/11 is a goal I recently found and adopted at 43things.com. As you can see, when it comes to goal setting, the sky's the limit for me!

Urban legend has it that Slurpees are free at 7-Eleven on 7/11. I find this difficult to believe; so between now and Wednesday I need to scrounge up some change or something. How much does a Slurpee cost now, anyway?

How long has it been since I had a Slurpee? How long has it been since I last cut my tongue on that stupid plastic spoon-straw thing that comes with a Slurpee? Now that I recall the spoon-straw contraption, I’m beginning to rethink the wisdom of adopting this goal.

Second-guessing is a significant potential impediment to successful creative visualization, just as razor-edged spoon-straws offer a potential hazard to the enjoyment of a cool, refreshing Slurpee.
