One If By Land....

Oh ye of little faith... my PowerPoint presentation today did not lock up! Don't forget... I'm a Mac user!

I began my presentation with this image, while saying the following:

Listen, my children, and you shall hear
Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere!

This is Paul's house. That's his midnight ride parked out front. Apparently he had a few too many over at Sam Adams' place.

After the faculty meeting, one of the teachers... a 20-year veteran teacher... approached me and said, "your opening was really good! It sounded almost like poetry!"

Needless to say, this later image evoked absolutely no response from my audience:

If any of you listen to National Public Radio you'll get this, otherwise we'll move right along. Ah, I see. We'll be moving right along then.

Triumph of the Will -- A New Beginning

It is a rare day that I find myself in agreement with President Bush.

"Bush's position is 'that this should be about the athletes and not necessarily about politics.'"

Obama, along with Clinton, is now calling for an Olympic boycott.

I can think of few, if any, other events which bring the entire world together, peacefully, like the Olympic Games. The Democrats want to turn that peaceful forum for the appreciation of athletic excellence and fair play into an ideological battleground.

Just like Hitler did in 1936.

Heil Obama! Heil Clinton!
