Quote of the Month

I ran across this quote in the current issue of Outside magazine, from a successful outdoor adventure photographer, Paolo Marchesi:

Have no fear of rejection. No matter how good you are, there will always be someone who thinks your work sucks.

Emboldened by victriviaqueen's rashness, I too have canceled my VOX account. Heck, I could hardly remember my password over there half the time.

I also Flickrmailed victriviaqueen about her LJ account. Canceling VOX is one thing. Deleting LJ, that's a whole 'nother matter. I encourage everyone to drop Cheryl a line asking her to consider reinstating her LJ account.

Here's a link to her Blogger site. Go spam her until she comes back to LJ. Well, okay, don't actually spam her. Asking nicely should suffice.

Does anyone remember my Blogger log-in? I know I've had... several; for Summer on a Metro, for Descentropy, for This Is A Temporary Title, for Flotsam & Jetsam, and for THE BEST BLOGGER SITE EVER, 100 Days of Breakfast Cereal.

Anyway, no more VOX for me.

UPDATE: Okay, now that I've exchanged messages with victriviaqueen, forget the spam. If we want to hang out with her, we'll have to do it at Flickr and her Blogger sites. Time constraints, basically, are the issue.
